Santa Catalina is a small toun located in the province of Veraguas, this place is world wide reconize to have one of the best waves of central America. In Santa Catalina you can find in the main land spots like: La Punta, Punta Roca, Punta Brava or the beach break called estero which is very good for beginners and in the same way there on front we have the option to stay in the Oasis Surf Camp. Santa Catalina have one of the most consistant wave in Panama, here we would surf La Punta which is the most know spot in the surfing world of Panama. La Punta is a volcanic bottom reef break.

Oasis Surf Camp, is the only accomodations located directly on the beach, Oasis is at the end of the dirt road on Playa El Estero. A line of cabins offers bunk beds with cold water showers. The restaurant is offers pasta dishes for diner with other options for breakfast and lunch. Further from town and the main break, the Oasis is a very popular choice because of its beach front location and friendly Italian owners.

Fishing in Santa Catalina is also know as world class, from
there with a short boat trip, we can visit Coiba islan what was one of the favorite places to visited for jack Custoe. Coiba National Park is group of 38 islands including Coiba Island.  Coiba National Park is located in the Gulf of Chiriquí,in the Panama’s Pacific coast covers, this island is 430,825 acres and in this island we can make some activities like fishing, surfing or just an exploration around the rich flora and fauna of the Coiba island.. 

The locals of Santa Catalina are very friendly and fair the only what you have to do is "respect". Santa Catalina is surfable with the low tide bud is under your risk, because the sharp volcanic rock of la Punta, can be very shallow. The best moment to surf in Santa Catalina is in the middle tide, which get hollow and not shallow depending the swell and the wind.
